Hold On

Some of us left our office desks, packed our college bags for a happy weekend 9 months ago, but haven’t returned yet. What should’ve been a happy weekend turned out to be a time where some missed their graduation while others lost their jobs and still others their loved ones. ‘When life throws lemons at you, make a lemonade’ is sometimes easier said than done.

How do we hold on in such times? When even the last string of hope is cut off, you can hold on to God. Even in the darkest of caves, when you can’t see His hand, you can still trust his character. He will never leave you, nor forsake you. He is not only for you when you see the light at the end of the tunnel, but he is also with you along your journey through the tunnel.

People may change, the year may take a turn. Your journey through life may take you to unexpected destinations but you can be sure of the fact that God is with you through it all. So will you choose to hold on today?
