Influence is the ability to have a deep impact on someone or something, even to the extent of changing mindsets, attitudes, or perceptions. In today’s world, there are many ‘influencers’, who have a huge say on the decisions and choices of many, whether it is regarding where to eat, what to wear, or even life hacks. The lives of these influencers seems very happening, and many of us end up aspiring to a similar life.
But sometimes a person who influences another doesn’t intend to have any such effect. We don’t have to be social media influencers in order to influence others. In fact, each move we make or decision we arrive at is a witness to our values and what we stand for. And whether we like it or not, each one of us is created with the potential to influence. Even unknowingly, we are usually influencing someone or something with everything we choose to say or do. So let’s strive to have the right influence, by consistently standing for what is right.
