Finding True Peace

Without finding true peace, there’s no lasting meaning to comfort or success or popularity.

We all strive, through the hustle and bustle of the world, to lead a good and happy life. We all tend to chase comfort, success and fame. But there’s something more valuable – something everyone wants, but very few actively pursue. And that’s the journey of finding true peace.

There’s a saying that goes; “Peace does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.”

The weekend may feel like a temporary escape, but as they say, “Monday always comes.”

Where do we attain real peace? What guides us in finding true peace? If a get-away to a serene and scenic place could give peace, why can’t we outrun our thoughts even while we are there? If meditation could bring peace, why are we again troubled and restless when we get back to our daily chores? It makes us wonder if real peace is even

There is one who offers us this seemingly unattainable true peace. Jesus, in the Bible, says, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” He promised to give true peace, a permanent one, and one that lets you stay calm when life is like a roller-coaster ride.

Jesus is the way to finding true peace. He bestows His peace freely on anyone who comes into a relationship with Him. And the most amazing part is that He offers it for free if you are ready to accept it and trust in Him! So, will you say ‘Yes’ to this free offer of true and lasting peace?
