Calvary

Where can I run from you?
With no shadow to hide me
from your love.

In my lofty mountains
and my deepest valleys,
Your warm embrace
never fails to find me.

My flaws and vices alike,
You wash pure.
my invisible tears,
You count precious.

Every time I fall,
your right hand upholds me;
when I hit rock bottom,
You stand by me,

Your boundless unfailing love
never once left me.
You’re my everlasting confidant,
the tower of refuge I run to,

And my unrivalled pillar of strength.
I have no elation apart from you.
No ecstatic peace that can match
your tender touch,
No voice that eternally captured my soul.

Can any love compare to
The cross of Calvary?
Jesus, you’re all my life and more.
