In a world where everyone is trying to blend in, it is so easy to lose ourselves and forget the fact that each of us is uniquely crafted, with a distinctive and beautiful identity. We tend to get so caught up with what others consider acceptable and start to live our lives based on others’ opinions. If your primary responsibility in life is being true to yourself, that can only be accomplished by carrying out what you are called to do.
We are all unique in our own ways, created with awesomely rich and creative talents that need to be put out into the world for our fellow-beings to benefit from and enjoy. What the world needs is not another opinion, but another example. God created us all with a purpose, so don’t be afraid to step out and be who God has made you to be; not just different for the sake of it, but purposefully unique.
